چکیده
A novel positively charged pillar[6]arene derivative bearing twelve pyridinium moieties has been synthesized. Its efficient complexation behavior towards two anionic naphthalenesulfonate substrates in aqueous media is described.

Investigate formation constant of some Amino Acids by p-sulphonato-calix (4) arene in Aqueous Solution
The formation constants (log K), of the complexes formed between a number of amino acids(glycine , L-valine and L-alanine) with p-sulfonatocalix [4] arene at varying temperatures (25± 0.1to 65 ± 0.1 °C) in aqueous solutions and at natural pH of p-sulphonato-calix [4] arene (pH=3.2) bymeans of UV-Vis spectrophotometeric technique have been investigated. At this pH the guestmolecule is in its cat...

متن کاملPhotoreversible switching of the lower critical solution temperature in a photoresponsive host-guest system of pillar[6]arene with triethylene oxide substituents and an azobenzene derivative.
A new water-soluble thermoresponsive pillar[6]arene with triethylene oxide groups was synthesized. The pillar[6]arene showed lower critical solution temperature behavior in aqueous solution. Its clouding point was photoreversibly switched based on a photoresponsive host-guest system. The trans form of an azobenzene guest formed a stable 1:1 complex with the pillar[6]arene. Complexation increase...
متن کاملMolecular selective binding of basic amino acids by a water-soluble pillar[5]arene.
Highly selective binding of basic amino acids, i.e. lysine, arginine, and histidine, by a negatively charged carboxylatopillar[5]arene (CP5A) is reported. And the complexation behavior of the CP5A host towards lysine metabolites including cadaverine (Cad), acetyl-l-lysine (AcLys) and trimethyl-l-lysine (TMLys) is also described.
